Hi Jackie, It is so amazing to suddenly see the butterfly inside! Are you seeing any brown anywhere on the pupa? I hope not and soon as the top begins to spread open like an accordion you will know to be on the look out. I so hope it is OK!!

So far so good. No brown spots. It was black this morning… but now appears more translucent in areas.
I’ll keep you posted. I have a video cam set up nearby… and do hope I am able to capture it.

At 1:31pm today the butterfly emerged. I was able to video tape it – so I will be posting the video tonight. So far so good. I think it is a female. 🙂
