It was a busy weekend and I had very little time to take photos, so I’ve pulled a few of my favorite macro photos I’ve taken this year. Enjoy!

Visit Macro Monday to view some very interesting close ups and if you have some macro shots to share, join in the fun. Macro Monday features closeup shots in the garden from fellow bloggers and is listed on Lisa’s Chaos.
Great photos – not sure how to use the macro thingy on my camera
If your camera has a MACRO setting, just give it a try. Holding the camera steady really helps with MACRO shots. This week I’m investing in a Monopod to help hold my camera steady when not using a tripod.
Wow what a collection of macros!!!!! hats off to jackie. Waterlily wins finally. But i have never managed to attract a single bee to my water lily 🙁
Great photos, Jackie! I love all the little details…
So many beautifull pictures! A feast for my eyes…
a few of those jumped right out in my living room
Bravo, Jackie!
Jackie, you’re killin’ me with your incredible macro shots. All because of you I’m thinking new camera…sigh.
Scott
You are so kind Scott. Believe me, it is just LUCK and the camera at work here…. but I love taking them anyway. I usually shoot about 10-15 shots per subject and then pick the best ones.
So lovely picture’s you have taken on your flowers and the insects just great shots.
Great job on your photos. What a lovely group to have held back to share with us now.
Your pictures are absolutely stunning! I especially loved the first one (the black stink bug?) What a fabulous picture!
Great collection, Macro is just wonderful in showing the small details in life
I’ll have to take notice of next week’s Macro Monday. 🙂 You’ve posted some really wonderful shots!
Lovely photos Jackie. Can you share with us what camera or macro lens you use?
Great photos, some of the best I have seen in a while. I love garden photography also, but don’t think my photos come close to yours.
