Preparing images for full width background
In my previous post, I wrote about building a collection of high resolution images for your website projects. Today I am going to show you how I prepare those images in Photoshop. Batch processing images in Photoshop is easy and fast. This is how I create beautiful background images for the homepage in my Genesis Child themes.
I wrote a post on WinningAgent.com a while back for those that wanted to manually add rotating images using Backstretch jQuery to your Genesis child theme. It is a completely manual method without any controls or ability to change images from within the WordPress dashboard, but it does work.
